Mr. Pearson has covered the Canadian energy sector since joining FirstEnergy Capital Corp. in 2010 and has a comprehensive set of experience, primarily focused on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raising in the upstream E&P segment.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Pearson worked as a professional engineer in the midstream and upstream oil and gas sectors, gaining extensive experience in the development and operations of several oil and gas assets across western Canada.
Mr. Pearson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a Professional Engineer, registered in the Province of Alberta.
