Lee White

Lee White is a Managing Director at Stifel's Denver Public Finance office. Mr. White has been in the investment banking business for more than 30 years and is responsible for underwriting more than $9 billion of municipal bonds. He came to investment banking with extensive cabinet level experience in state government. Mr. White was Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Administration from 1979-80 and Executive Director of the Colorado Office of State Planning and Budget from 1981-82. Mr. White participates in numerous professional and civic organizations and has served as a Trustee of the Colorado Historical Society and the Greater Denver Corporation, as well as a member of the Colorado Forum and the Mile High Club. He was elected to the Denver Board of Education in 1996 and served for four years. Mr. White received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
