George O'Connor joined Stifel as an analyst covering the Software & IT services sector. George has 25 years of relevant experience in equity research and industry. Prior to his first research role in the City, George spent nine years as an industry consultant working for a client base of IT companies as well as user and government organizations. Frequently rated by Starmine and Reuters, George was awarded Small Cap Analyst of the Year in 2013. On a pro bono basis, George is a judge for the Worshipful Company of Information Technologist annual Enterprise Awards, which are regarded as the ‘Oscars’ for the UK IT industry. He has a BA from University College Cork, Ireland.
